What are Anti Wrinkle Injections?

Anti wrinkle injections or ' Botox' as they are commonly called is short for Botulinum Toxin which is naturally occurring protein which relaxes muscles, thereby temporarily smoothing out wrinkles. Botox is a prescription only medicine and should only prescribed by qualified practitioners such as Doctors, Dentists or prescribing Nurses after careful and complete medical assessment. It is the treatment of choice for people who have forehead lines, frown lines or wrinkles around their eyes which they wish to reduce. You will begin to notice a visible smoothing of your forehead, crow’s feet lines and frown lines between your eyebrows.

What is Dermal Filler?

​​Dermal filler or Facial filler is a naturally-occurring gel that is injected into the face to smooth wrinkles and folds. It is used remove folds on the skin , especially near mouth and nose, to smooth out scars or dents in the face and to define and enhance lips. Injectable Hyaluronic Acid gel adds volume to the skin, plumping it out giving the appearance of a smoother surface. We use Juvéderm® which is  is the leading facial filler available on the market and comes with a local anaesthetic which makes the process relatively painless. Dermal fillers are safe when they are administered by a Medical professional after full assessment.

  • ​Cost - £200 for 0.55ml Juvaderm or £300 for 1ml Juvaderm based on need
  • Anaesthesia - Topical will be applied. Also, Juvaderm contains Lidocaine which is an anaesthetic

  • ​Results - Immediately visible, but may take 7-10 days for full improvement
